Xia Ding is the Operations Manager of ClimateWorks Foundation’s Beijing Office. She has 14 years of experience working at foreign and domestic NGOs, including the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative and the Earthworm Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Textile Engineering and Business from the Beijing United University, Business College.
Monica Wang is Associate Director of ClimateWorks Foundation’s Beijing Office where she leads to nurture and enhance an enabling environment for China to accelerate its climate actions, in the areas of climate finance, strategic communications, and field building.
Prior to joining ClimateWorks Foundation, Monica had worked with several environmental NGOs over a decade in China, including WWF, GSCC/ChinaDialogue, WRI, and Greenpeace, in the fields of climate, energy, waste, water, and sustainable cities.
Monica holds a M.A. in International Development Policy from Duke University, and two degrees both in communications from Fudan University and the Communication University of China.
Xiaohua is the Chief Representative of ClimateWorks Beijing Office where he manages the overall operation of the office and our direct grantmaking to support climate action in China.
Prior to joining ClimateWorks Foundation, he was the senior policy advisor on climate action and cooperation in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, headed the International Cooperation Department of China’s National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation and served as program officer of UNFCCC secretariat. He started his career as the assistant researcher in Tsinghua University.
He has a Ph.D in nuclear engineering from Tsinghua University.
