Chelsea Downs (she/her) is the Senior Manager for Session Content and Design on the Funder Collaborations Team. In this role, Chelsea project manages session planning and implementation teams of session project managers, consultants, and partners for the bi-annual Funders Table meetings. She brings over 8 years of experience in project management at nonprofits in international development and social impact. Prior to joining CWF, she was a Program Manager at the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA). She oversaw their flagship annual convening in East Africa, where she brought together researchers, policymakers, and donors to learn collectively and explore opportunities for collaboration. She also comes with experience in strategic communications, grant management, and organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion. Chelsea holds a Master’s of International Affairs with a focus in nonprofit management and development from UC San Diego.
