Dan is a strategist who is matrixed across the Advisory & Insights and Country and Multilateral Action departments, where he manages work on trade and trade-related policies and the exploration of novel, innovative, and boundary-pushing cross-sectoral research and initiatives. Previously, Dan was an emissions analyst, an economist, and a consultant. Dan holds a master’s from Duke University.

Patty is the program director for Food and Agriculture. Patty brings decades of experience in transforming food systems, leading philanthropy on climate and energy, and directing climate and health programs. Previously, Patty worked at the Global Alliance for the Future of Food and was the founding COO at the European Climate Foundation (ECF). Patty holds a master’s from Princeton University.
Franklin M. (“Lynn”) Orr, Jr., ClimateWorks Board Chair
Franklin M. (“Lynn”) Orr, Jr. is an emeritus faculty member in the Energy Science and Engineering Department at Stanford’s Doerr School of Sustainability and was deeply involved in interdisciplinary research to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, Dr. Orr served as under secretary for science and energy at the U.S. Department of Energy. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
Siddarthan Balasubramania
As a senior director, Siddarthan advises partner foundations on their strategies, programs, and partnerships. He is an expert on topics such as green growth opportunities, international energy policy, clean energy, natural resources management and low-carbon development. Siddarthan’s work experience covers major emerging economies and the US.
Lina Fedirko
Lina spearheads the Minerals for Energy Transition Initiative under Road Transportation Program, and the Battery Sustainability Initiative as part of the Drive Electric Campaign. Lina brings over a decade of experience working on transportation decarbonization and wider climate change mitigation issues, and holds a master’s from the New School University.
Shawn Reifsteck
Shawn is the managing director with extensive leadership experience in the fields of philanthropy, environmental conservation, and civic engagement. Shawn has held senior positions at local, national, and global organizations over the past three decades, including his strategic and collaborative leadership in climate philanthropy over the past fifteen years. He holds a masters in nonprofit administration from the University of San Francisco.
Jason Anderson
Negar Naraghi
Negar is the senior director of Human Resources and a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of experience in acquisition, management, and compliance. She oversees ClimateWorks’ people strategy and has spearheaded initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Previously, she held leadership positions at the Children’s Council of San Francisco and Education Finance Partners.
John Podesta
John Podesta is the founder and chair of the Center for American Progress. He served as senior adviser to President Joe Biden for clean energy innovation and implementation and for international climate policy. Podesta also served as counselor to President Barack Obama, where he was responsible for coordinating the administration’s climate policy and initiatives. He was a member of the U.N. Secretary General’s High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda. Podesta previously served as White House chief of staff to President William J. Clinton.
Casey Cronin
Casey manages the Advisory & Insights department, providing advice and insights into philanthropic opportunities and risks. Casey leads overall work tracking collective progress toward long-term climate goals and exploring novel and innovative areas for climate action. Previously, he worked at a strategic communications agency representing clean technology companies. Casey holds a master’s from Stanford University.
