Mona Wang

Senior Collaborations Manager

    Mona Wang (she/her) is the Senior Collaborations Manager for the Funder Collaborations team, focusing on strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of existing collaboration systems and processes as well as to develop new systems to support funders in their engagement with the CWF and key/priority collaborations.

    Prior to joining, Mona was a part of the Strong, Prosperous, and Resilient Communities Challenge (SPARCC) collaborative with Low-Income Investment Fund where she designed and managed the program operations, budget, and energy efficiency work for a cross-organizational initiative that focused on advancing community-driven solutions and investments to build racial equity, health, and climate resilience in BIPOC communities in the US.  On a more global scale, Mona was with the World Wildlife Fund where she promoted indigenous rights and community capacity-building for sustainable landscape management and changing global climate policy frameworks to be more inclusive of indigenous visions and voices.

    Mona holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s of Environmental Management from Yale University’s School of the Environment.
