ClimateWorks’ grantees include some of the world’s leading organizations working on climate, energy, and forest policy. Their experience on the front lines gives them a unique perspective on what it takes to achieve low-carbon prosperity.

In most cases, ClimateWorks funds existing institutions with a track record of reducing carbon emissions through policy initiatives. Our grantmaking combines funds with technical support that can increase the probability of achieving large-scale policy victories. When new institutions are needed, ClimateWorks collaborates with our partners to define the need, assess potential grant recipients, and help build capacity in the field.
